The Queensland Government’s fee-free TAFE initiative is providing 37,000 fee-free TAFE places this year, so it is wonderful to see the community taking advantage of this opportunity and getting enrolled at our nearest TAFE campus, Alex Hills.
I am very excited to share that 1,800 locals have already enrolled at TAFE Alex Hills this financial year!
In addition, the most popular fee-free courses being studied in Semester 1 at Alex Hills are the Diploma of
Nursing & the Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
This brings the Queensland Government's investment into Alex Hills TAFE to a total of $15.4 million.
It also will greatly assist with addressing a national skills shortage challenge, by ensuring Lytton locals have good skills, better job security and great job choices.
It’s a win for our locals, our Bayside businesses and our Lytton industries.
